Early in September 2015 Prof Doron Shilo was awarded the Ray and Miriam Klein Technion research prize. The prize is awarded for an exceptional research project that can help advance the Industry, technology, security or scientific capability of the state of Israel. The prize was awarded to Prof Shilo for the work studying the laws of dynamic reaction of smart materials of the type of promagnetic shape remembering metals.
