The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering congratulates Dr. Leonid Tartakovsky for being selected by the SAE International Committee as SAE Fellow for his substantial contribution to mitigation of pollutant emissions by in-use vehicles and waste heat recovery in internal combustion engines.
SAE Fellow is the highest grade of membership bestowed by SAE International. It recognizes outstanding engineering, scientific and leadership accomplishments by an individual that have resulted in meaningful advances in automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle technologies. Dr. Tartakovsky is the first Israeli to receive this honor.
