On Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 in honor of the approaching spring festival the faculty of Mechanical Engineering hosted the children and grandchildren of the academic and administrative staff for a day of fun in an atmosphere of spring and blossom . About 30 children, from kindergarten age to sixth graders , arrived at the faculty bringing along with them lots of light, laughter and cheerfullness.
The day started with a tasty breakfast in the ecological garden among the trees and flowers, followed by a guided tour of the garden’s varied and beautiful species. After the tour, the children played ball games in the garden’s yard and got to know each other better.
The children then returned to the faculty, to watch an amazing magic show inspired by the holiday spirit.
To end the fantastic day, the children had popcorn and cotton candy machines waiting for them as they gathered into the faculty auditorium for a private screening of the full length movie Hotel Transylvania / Monsters University and had the feeling of being in a “real” cinema.
