On Dec. 23rd, the Faculty held the Opening of the academic year meeting with KLA-Tencor, in which the company awarded full tuition scholarships to 6 outstanding students in the Optical Engineering Track. The meeting included greetings from Dean Prof. Yoram Halevi, talks by Prof. Carmel Rotschild head of the Optical Engineering Track, Dr. Amnon Manassen KLA-Tencor Israel R&D Manager, and Daria Negri an optical engineer from KLA and a Faculty optical engineering track alumni, and ended with the Excellence Scholarships awarding ceremony.
