Our story

Since its establishment in 1935, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion has turned out many of Israel’s leading engineers who are currently driving Israeli industry, research and development. Its graduates hold key positions in industries such as high-tech, defense, healthcare, energy and aviation. It is the leading mechanical engineering program in Israel, with enrollment of 1,000 students every year under the guidance of senior academic staff, scientists and industry experts, and with the support of a skilled and professional team of engineers, technicians and administrative personnel.
