LAVA has won funding from EIC Accelerator, Europe’s most prestigious innovation grant. It is one of 71 companies selected from 1,211 applicants and 431 companies that advanced to the interview stage.
The company was founded by Assoc. Prof. Carmel Rothschild, focuses on developing innovative thermodynamic technologies for converting heat into energy and vice versa. It has developed a liquid isothermal heat motor that converts heat into electricity with high efficiency and an isothermal heat pump that provides heating and cooling solutions for industry and large applications.
