Jacob immigrated to Israel from Kazakhstan at the age of 17 as part of the Jewish Agency’s Selah youth program. After a year of absorption in the Nitzana Youth Village, he enlisted as a lone soldier in the Kfir Brigade. While studying, he married Ma’ayan.
As a student, Jacob worked at IceCure Medical Ltd., and later entered the world of entrepreneurship. In addition, he served as a mentor in the Technion Alumni Association’s mentorship program, where he mentored and assisted students on a volunteer basis.
Jacob was killed on October 13, 2023, in a mission in Samaria, as a reservist. He was survived by his wife and four children.
May his memory be a blessing.
