Industrial Affiliates Program
The Industrial Affiliates Program of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion was launched to promote collaboration in the fields of education and teaching, human resources, research and development, marketing and public relations, between the faculty and leading companies in the industry in Israel and overseas.
As part of the program, each partner company has access to the faculty’s resources and is invited to implement an annual plan according to its unique needs, while exposing its work to students in all degree programs and tracks, faculty and graduates. At the same time, companies joining the program can participate in events held at the Faculty and the Technion throughout the academic year.
The model for the program is based on payment of a one-year enrollment fee that allows unlimited job postings, as well as the placement of the company’s logo on the Faculty’s website. Later on, an annual plan that is relevant to the company and matches its needs in several areas is developed and priced. This includes:
- Holding an exclusive ‘recruitment day’ to recruit students to the company.
- Participating in a recruitment day held once a year in the Faculty building for several companies simultaneously.
- Publishing advertising articles and sponsoring advertisements in the Faculty’s magazine, which is distributed to thousands of Faculty graduates, faculty members, and students.
- Enabling company employees to attend regular courses (coordinated in advance).
- Organizing unique courses and seminars for the company’s employees (coordinated in advance).
- Inviting companies to initiate a variety of additional activities that meet their unique needs.
In addition, the Faculty encourages cooperation in the following areas:
- Participation in a ‘research day’ and in all events held at the Faculty throughout the academic year.
- Proposing topics and mentoring final projects of undergraduate students.
- Providing scholarships to students.
- Sponsoring conferences and events held throughout the year.
