The Technion acts and will continue to act to prevent unacceptable occurrences of sexual harassment and prejudicial treatment, the creation of harassing environments, and the existence of intimate relations between those in positions of authority and their subordinates. The Technion encourages a culture of speech and behavior that is free of harassing statements, innuendo, and gestures of a sexual nature, and acts to prevent the violation of these norms. The Technion acts in accordance with the law, regulations and the Technion bylaws, which are revised from time to time.
The Technion has a Commission for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment that can be contacted in any case of sexual harassment. All inquiries are handled with great sensitivity and professionalism, while guaranteeing complete discretion.
The Technion also conducts informational and educational activities for all audiences: students, academic staff, administrative staff, and contracted staff.
