On Nov. 25 the Faculty hosted UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS Conference. The conference was organized in collaboration between the Faculty’s Dynamic Fracture Lab Headed by Prof. Daniel Rittel, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). The conference focused on materials and mechanical systems operating under extreme conditions. The conference included talks by experts from Israeli academia, defense industry and Israeli army, and participated by 160 employees from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Elbit Systems, Rafael, Iscar, and Israel Military Industries (IMI).
