As part of the annual Board of Governors meetings, prizes and awards were conferred upon outstanding faculty members in a special ceremony held on June 6, 2016:

- Associate Professor Doron Shilo for winning the Henry Taub Prize for Academic Excellence
- Assistant Professor Matthew Suss for winning the Uzi and Michal Halevi Award for Innovative Applied Engineering
