Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Shelly Tzlil for winning the Daniel Shiran Memorial Research Prize for 2017

Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Shelly Tzlil for winning the Daniel Shiran Memorial Research Prize for 2017. The prize was established to commemorate an IDF soldier, Daniel Shiran, who served in the Golani Brigade and was killed in a battle in August 2006 during the 2nd Lebanon War.

The prize is awarded yearly to one Technion excellent researcher in the field of bio-medicine. This year’s prize is awarded to Asst. Prof. Tzlil for her research: “Mechanical Engineering in cardiac cell synchronized beating” published in Physics Nature in January 2016.
