Congratulations to Professor Emeritus Itzhak Etsion for being awarded The Mayo D. Hersey Award by ASME.
The 2016 Prize is awarded “for distinguished contributions to the fields of tribology, contact mechanics and lubrication including the creation of groundbreaking elastic-plastic contact models and pioneering research on surface texturing for hydrodynamic lubrication.”
The awarding ceremony will take place this November in Chicago during ASME conference.
