Employee Retreat – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Following the Faculty tradition, just before the holidays the employees of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering spent a day in a successful retreat. This year’s retreat took place on Sep. 21, 2016 to the Upper Galilee area.

The day started with an extreme ride on tom cars, jeeps, RZR at Dishon Settlment, in the trail called “Between the vineyard and the cliff”.

We started trail in Dishon settlement, riding through fields, plantations and vineyards. Then to the Zemer Mountain, with a challenging trail and exciting ride in the hills. Afterwards, to the east, riding through vineyards, entering Naftaly Mountains forests and up the hill to the highest point “Keren Naftaly” with its breathtaking panorama and lookout on the beautiful Houla Valley, the Golan Heights and Hermon Mountain. We were wonderfully surprised to have a short break for some snacks and fruit there.

The next stage of the day was a visit to Hagalil Vineyard, were we toured and tasted some exquisite wines.

At noon we’ve arrived to Kfar Blum Kayaks, to take a 4-km sail. Another surprise was prepared for us – a boat full of beverages, fruit and ice cream.

Following the sail, we dined at a fancy “Dobrovin” restaurant, at the facmous  Dobrovin Estate in Yesod Hamaala.

We spent a fabulous and enjoyable day.

Shana Tova and thanks to Shimrit Wagner-Lior for organizing the event.
