“Swords of Iron” war
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering family grieves for the fallen soldier, an alumnus of our faculty, Jacob Nadlin, of blessed memory.
Jacob came to Israel from Kazakhstan at the age of 17 with a Jewish Agency youth program. After a year of acclimation at the Nitzana Youth Village he was drafted as a lone soldier to the Kfir Brigade. During his studies he married Maayan. He worked as a student in Eskior Medical, and following that he entered the world of entrepreneurship. Yaakov served as a mentor in the Technion Alumni mentorship program. He accompanied and helped students voluntarily. Yakkov was killed (last night?) in maneuvers in Samaria. He is survived by a wife and four children.

With great pain and sorrow we announce that Staff Sgt.
(reserves) Dov Moshe (Dubby) Kogan, an alumnus of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, an advanced degree student and a teaching assistant in the faculty, has fallen in the “Swords of Iron” war. He was 32 years old. A soldier in the Shaldag Unit, he fell in the depth of the Gaza Strip.

We wanted to remind you that we are here for you always, ready to assist you with any question or problem. We are strong – united we will win.
